This is a shot of an all-original unmolested rear suspension assembly. Note
that all of the finishes are correct. The axle, leaf springs, and sway bar are not to be painted. The leaf springs on
the Z28 Sport Suspension were 3 leaf springs with a 6" spacer where the rubber cushion is installed, while a standard
Camaro came with 4 leaf springs. This seems counter-intuitive, but the Z28 Sport Suspension included a sway bar, and the 3
leaf spring combined with the rear stabilizer bar to provide a soft, sporty ride and a lowered look at the rear of the
car. Note the original yellow stripe on the sway bar bushing. Also note all correct bolts and nuts. The original spiral shock
can be seen in the photo, and the correct original finish (Satin black) can be seen on the floor pans beyond. No paint
on the rear or front stabilizer bars. Rear leaf springs are not painted or oiled. Front Coil Springs are not painted. Enter content here Enter content here
